Get the Jwoww Tanning Experience

Now that the winter months are over, now is the time to focus on warm looks, fun in the sun and other things not associated with cool weather.

Many of us enjoy being in the sun and having a nice, natural-looking tan, even when there is no time to get outdoors. The many tanning tools out there have their advantages and disadvantages but depending on one’s resources, there is a solid resolution.

If you have seen Jersey Shore and wondered how you can get your skin to look like Jwoww tanning and keep it this way, here are some solutions that range from temporary to semi-permanent.

Get the Jwoww Tanning ExperienceSprays – These have come a long ways as they were once known for being runny with an unnatural-looking orange hue. Some sprays will last through swimming, sports and other activities where a person is likely to perspire.  There are also a wider range of hues that compliment darker skin tones.  The best thing about these is that they are one of the safest options on the market.  People as young as four have used these with little skin reaction or any damage.

Lotions– Some of these provide decent results but they are, for the most part, temporary.  While some self-tanning aids that are liquefied have been known to work for more than 24 hours, it may be best to conduct research by going online and reading user reviews.

Salons may use anything from tanning beds to sprays or even a combination.  Though some are reputable, it may be wise to investigate those in your area. Some may have a history of being shut down by the health department for lack of public hygiene or accepting clients that were not of legal age to receive services.

If a person has sensitive or trouble skin, they may want to speak with a dermatologist as to which methods may work the best for them.  Though a salon worker may claim to be knowledgeable, this does not take the place of a licensed practitioner.  Even if they have one of those tempting  jwoww tanning specials at an unbelievably low price, you don’t want to take any chances with your body as it’s the only one you have.

Even if a person does not have problem skin, they still will want to take precautions with their skin. For one, keeping it moisturized as often is very important as the sun (or anything that simulates heat) can dry the skin. Using lotion may not be enough as natural creams that contain ingredients like aloe vera, collagen or shea butter may bring the best results.

A final thing is SPF.  Make sure you have the right amount for your skin type and tanning exposure always and wear protective eyewear.

Hot tans never go out of style and can even create an exotic look that many will envy.  However, like any other procedure, caution must be used at all times so that people do not suffer damage that may be permanent or difficult to reverse.

Steps To Take Before Plastic Surgery

Plastic surgery has become commonplace in society today, but it should still be taken seriously. Before heading off to your surgeon’s office, there are a several steps you should take to prepare.

Before Surgery

First, learn all about the surgery you intend to have. Familiarize yourself with the type of surgery, the results you can expect, the recovery period and the potential complications. Pre-surgery jitters are normal, but talk to your doctor to help relieve any fears you may have. This simple step of being confident and educated in your decision helps to prepare your mind for the surgery and recovery. It’s also a good idea to talk to others who have had the same procedure and learn about their experiences. There are many web forums and support groups online to connect you with others.

Steps To Take Before Plastic SurgeryArrange for transportation. This is a requirement for almost every surgery, as anesthesia and pain medications can affect you as you drive. Some cosmetic surgeries, like a tummy tuck, require bed rest afterward, so it is very important to arrange other means of transportation. Ask a friend or family member, and if those options aren’t available, arrange for a taxi.

Medications and Smoking

Ask your doctor for a list of things to avoid. Many over the counter medications, like aspirin or antiinflammatory medications, should be avoided as these could cause potential complications. Your doctor will be able to point out or provide a list of what to avoid. Also make sure that your doctor knows about any medications you are already taking.

If you smoke, it’s important to quit at least two weeks before surgery. Smoking leads to an increased risk of complications and can slow down your recovery. If you need support, there are many websites and communities dedicated to helping you quit smoking.

Prepare for Recovery

Discuss pain medication options, and get them filled ahead of time, if possible. You can also ask for information on alternative therapies to help manage recovery, like homeopathic treatments. Your doctor will likely refer you to a specialist for this. Once you’ve acquired your pain medications, make sure that they are easily within reach. Also ask your doctor about what you can do or use to help recover. Ice packs, heating pads and moisturizers can all be useful and make you more comfortable as you heal.

Set up an area in your home where you can relax as you heal. This could be in bed or on a comfortable recliner by the TV. Gather your favorite movies, a computer, books, snacks, water bottle, your pain medication, blankets and any other item you might want. If you cook, prepare freezer meals in advance for easy meals, or gather take-out menus. Easy access to these items can make recovery more enjoyable.

Taking a few simple steps to be fully informed and prepared for your surgery can make a world of difference, both in how you feel going in and how your recovery will go.

Do It Yourself Hair Treatments

There are a wide variety of hair treatments that you can do in your own home. Majority of at-home hair treatments can be done by using products you already have in your cabinets.

No matter the type of hair you have, there is a DIY hair treatment for you. Whether you have hair that is oily, frizzy, dry, or damaged, you can help your hair look and feel healthier in your own home. DIY hair treatments not only prevent you from having to go to a salon, but can save you a lot of money.

Deep Clean with Vinegar

If you are a frequent user of hair products, after a while they begin to accumulate on the hair. The products will begin to weigh the hair down and can cause your hair to start to look dull. By using apple cider vinegar, you can get a fresh head of hair that looks like it has never been touched by hair products.

After shampooing your hair you should apply a single tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to your hair. You could also combine it with your shampoo to get an even better distribution, especially if you have longer hair. Rub the vinegar into your scalp well and let it sit for five minutes. Rinse the vinegar, then condition as normal. Your hair may have a funny smell, but that will go away after another wash or two.

Deep Clean #2 – Baking Soda

Another frequently used ingredient for an amazing deep clean on hair is baking soda. Baking soda is made up of sodium bicarbonate, which works to break down anything that is acidic.

For this treatment you will mix 1-2 tablespoons with a little water until you get a thick paste consistency. You can add more baking soda or water to get the amount of paste you desire. Once you get the amount you want, you then massage the mixture into your damp hair and let it sit for fifteen minutes.

When time is up you then rinse your hair and shampoo as normal. This treatment can be done once every two weeks if needed.

Itchy Scalp

An itchy scalp that may have flakes or dandruff can be seriously aggravating. Luckily, there is an easy at-home treatment using lemon juice and olive oil that can help combat these agitators. The lemon juice works to strip any dry flakes from the skin, with the olive oil working to moisturize skin that is newly exposed.

You should mix two tablespoons of each: lemon juice, olive oil, and water. You then gently massage the mixture onto your damp scalp, letting it sit for twenty minutes. When time is up, you simply rinse and shampoo as normal. This treatment can be applied once every other week for optimal and long-term results.

Oily Hair Treatment

A super cheap ingredient that can be used to help with oily or greasy hair is cornstarch or corn meal. These two work by absorbing any and all excess oil in the hair and on the scalp.

This treatment is easy and only requires you to sprinkle cornstarch or corn meal onto your hair. You can do this by either putting it into a salt/pepper shaker or a similar container, such as a container that glitter or seasoning comes in. You simply sprinkle a tablespoon of the chosen ingredient over dry hair/scalp until it is all gone.

Wait ten minutes, then brush through your hair. You can use this treatment once every other day.

Add Volume to Lifeless Hair

Limp strands can be a bummer, but can easily be perked back up with a simple at-home treatment.

Get a bowl and mix up the following ingredients:

  1. 1 egg yolkDo It Yourself Hair Treatments
  2. 2 small avocados
  3. 1/2 cup of honey
  4. 2 tablespoons of olive oil

After mixing well, apply the mixture to your entire head of dry hair. This treatment takes quite a bit longer than others, and has to be left on for up to two hours, or until it is completely hardened.

Once hardened, you can rinse, shampoo, and condition as normal. This treatment can safely be done once a week if needed.

Make Dull Hair Shine

Hair goes through a lot. It is hot-styled, has tons of hair products applied to it, and can subject to outdoors pollution. All of these factors can leave hair looking extremely dull and with zero shine. The lactic acid in dairy products help to take away dirt and other pollutants, while the fat content moisturizes the hair.

All you need to do for this treatment is to gently massage half a cup of plain yogurt or sour cream into your damp hair. Let the treatment sit for twenty minutes, then rinse with warm water, then cold water. After rinsing you can shampoo as normal and re-apply once every two weeks, or as needed.

Tame the Frizz

Frizzy hair was rocking in the 80s, but now it’s just a nuisance. You can easily get those frizzy locks under control with this at-home treatment.

Take half of an avocado, mash it up into a paste, and apply it to damp hair. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, then rinse. If you also wish to moisturize the hair, you can combine the avocado with 1-2 tablespoons of a natural moisturizing ingredient such as mayonnaise or sour cream. You can use this treatment once every other week.

Laser Hair Removal using an IPL Hair Remover

If you have unwanted hair on your face or body, laser hair removal could be the right option for you. A cosmetic procedure, IPL hair removal (IPL stands for intense pulsed light) involves using a laser-like light to remove unwanted hair. The light targets your follicles and stunts them, which substantially reduces hair growth (hair growth is reduced by about 95% in most patients).

IPL hair removal offers several benefits:

Permanent Hair Reduction

First, it’s important to note that the hair could still grow back after you get IPL hair removal treatments. If the hair does grow back, however, it will be sparser and finer than it was before your laser treatment. You can expect anywhere from 60 to 95 percent of the hair in the targeted area to be removed, with most patients experiencing 95% removal.

Softer, Smoother Skin

If you shave or wax frequently, then you have probably noticed that hair can grow back as rougher stubble. One of the benefits of getting laser hair removal is that it leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft to the touch.

This can help you feel more feminine and confident. Furthermore, you will not have to worry about ingrown hairs or razor bumps.

Relatively Painless

One of the myths about laser and IPL hair removal treatments is that they’re very painful. The procedures, however, are relatively painless for most people. Many people compare the pain of laser hair removal to the sensation of being snapped with a rubber band…not pleasant, but definitely no worse than the discomfort of waxing.

Time Saver

Have you ever been late for work or another important appointment because you had to shave? Laser hair removal takes a laborious step out of your “getting ready” routine. You will no longer have to spend an hour or more of your time shaving, plucking or waxing.

Save Money

While laser hair removal is not a cheap procedure, it can actually help you save money in the long run.

For example, if you go to the salon and get a wax every month, then you could potentially end up spending $20,000 on waxing in your lifetime. Laser hair removal helps you save money by reducing your need to rely on other hair removal methods.

Again, laser hair removal is a great way to reduce unwanted hair growth. And in return, you’ll feel more feminine, increase your confidence and save a considerable amount of time and money.

Author Rachel Myers thinks that laser hair removal can boost confidence by helping people feel less self-conscious about unwanted hairs. She works closely with the Hairfree Melbourne Clinic, Australia’s largest IPL hair removal specialists.

Create Sassy And Sexy Stand Out Cheekbones

We’d all love to have cheekbones that stand out, the ones that make models look sophisticated and exotic. However, the sad part is that not many of us are blessed with a facial structure that makes our cheekbones stand out. It is possible though, to use commonly-available beauty products to give the illusion. Most of these products are available in your make-up kit, or in most cosmetics stores and they do not cost much and is fairly affordable. Here is how you can use beauty products to achieve a look that will make you the envy of the women around you:

Applying Blush

Applying blush on the cheekbones is the best way to make them stand out from the other features of the face, and make your complexion look brighter. To apply powder blush, all you need to do is follow a few simple steps: First, apply the base (moisturizer or foundation) and allow it to dry completely. Take a brush and tap it on your compact a couple of times. Give the mirror a wide smile so that you can clearly see where the blush needs to be applied; tap the brush over the cheekbones and sweep it upwards – towards your temples. Repeat this procedure to get an even and subtle finish. Never use blush under your cheekbones, and remember to sweep in a single direction to avoid unsightly streaks or lines.

Remember to pick a colour that goes well with your skin tone; the thumb rule is to pick something similar to the colour of your lips. You can consult an expert who will tell you which colours would work best with your face. Blush that is a lot darker than the ideal shades for you can make your cheekbones stand out, but not quite in a flattering way!

This is one of the methods that many models use to make their cheekbones look higher and stand out. This is a method in which shadows and highlights are used to create depth with the cheekbones. Use a matt bronzing powder and a foundation brush to create shadows under your cheekbones. Then, even it out by sweeping downwards with a blush brush to create shadows on the lower half of your cheek. If you wish, you can use the bronzing powder to draw shadows from above your cheekbones, towards your temples. Apply highlights to your cheekbones with a blush brush. Use blusher at the spot where the highlights meet the shadows, and also where your cheeks stand out.

To Change the Look of your Cheekbones

These beauty products can also be used to give your cheekbones a new look; here is how you can make them over:

1. If your cheekbones are wide, apply blush that is just a shade darker than your foundation. Sweep this towards your hairline. This is very effective, especially for people who have heart-shaped faces.

2. If you think your cheekbones are not prominent enough, apply blush in beige colour just below them. Apply some on the chin as well to get an even look.

3. If you are in a hurry and just want to accentuate your cheekbones, apply bronzing powder just below the bones. Use neutral blush above the cheekbones and sweep it towards the hairline. Even out the make up with a thick brush so that it looks even, and not compartmentalised. This is very effective for women with round faces.

4. If you don’t want a drastic change in the way your cheekbones look, apply a little bit of shimmer below your eyes.
